The 25-man raids started to pick up momentum this week...

We went into Naxx twice (Wednesday and Sunday) and managed to take down 6 bosses! The Spider Wing was cleared, Patchwerk went down, and then Noth and Heigan joined him. I suspect Loatheb would have also gone the same way if we'd have had a full group at that stage!

On top of that, we also downed Sartharion again this week on 25-man.

So things are going great for the guild this week... And hopefully this is just the start!

p.s. If you want to sign up for the raids, you can do so on the Calendar but you'll need to be quick as these raids are filling up fast!! Also make sure you've signed up to the website using your characters name... Otherwise you will run into trouble with the signups. Give me a shout if you can't get anywhere with it.

Just a quick update from this weekends activity...

On Saturday night a 25-man raid on the Obsidian Sanctum resulted in 3 dead drakes and 1 dead dragon! The raid had a solid guild core and a few PUGs in it. Hopefully we can get a full-blown guild raid going soon.

In 10-man Naxx, the groups now have Instructor Razuvious and Noth the Plaguebringer down, which means we've had 7 of the 15 bosses down. About half way there...

If we get enough people online, we will consider starting up the 25-mans in Naxx, as I'm sure they can't be as unforgiving as 10-mans seem to be... If Heroic Obsidian Sanctum is anything to go by, it will be considerably easier on 25-man :)

Recruitment was opened back up again tonight... Looking for well geared level 80 Healers and DPS. Let me know if you find someone, or get them to apply on the website!

Final point.... I've transferred guild leadership to Kamisama as this seems to have become my main character since the release of Wrath! Hopefully we will see more of Jhonntae at some point in the future, but for now, healing is more in demand (and hunters have just been nerfed!)

We had a grand old time at the weekend... What started as a quick trip into Molten Core (for fun and giggles) turned into an Epic adventure around UBRS and Blackwing Lair (those bosses are mean!)

And when we finally tracked down enough people to douse the runes in MC, we took down the big guy himself! Took about 1 minute 30 seconds!

Next week we might do AQ20/40 or mebbe an Onyxia raid. Is it too soon to go back to Kara or even Black Temple?!

Well finally, after at least 3 weeks of attempts, and many instances of single percentage wipes, Maexxna finally fell to the raiders of All Nuke Skull.

The Spider Wing is finally clear and we can now hopefully concentrate on moving forward through Naxxramas.

Now you may be asking why this is so hard, when we've heard so much about Naxx being easy?

Well, I'll tell you now that 10-man Naxx is NOT easy. It requires people to meet a certain level of gear (Heroic lvl 80 gear minimum). You'll need a not insubstantial amount of DPS (12k minimum for the raid on Patchwerk for example). Your healers will need to be geared enough to keep the raid going (meaning 1700 Spell Power and 1000 Mana Regen is not unheard for Priests). And the tactics aren't nearly as straight-forward as a raid like Karazhan (which for the most part are Tank/Spank/CC/Get out of the Fire!) Certainly, if you've never been there before, either as a 40-man raid in the past, or in a 10/25-man on the PTR or Beta, it can catch you off-guard...

So i've got to say a big thank you to all the guys and girls who are making this possible. Competition for spaces is hotting up though, so make sure you sign up (and turn-up) to avoid disappointment!

I didn't manage to record the logs (as Loggerhead seems to have let me down) but as promised, the big bad dragon has drawn it's last breath!

Congratulations to all concerned! A night of real progress for the guild. Especially now that the regular raiding schedule has restarted following the Christmas break.
